HealthCare Institute is an organization, that helps to gradually increase the safety and quality of Czech healthcare. We try to discuss with top management and hospital founders the implementation of new management approaches, common in the Western EU and the USA.

A comprehensive evaluation project focused on financial health, safety and satisfaction of outpatients, in-patients and employees of Czech hospitals. The structure of a comprehensive comparison is based on the methodology of a strategic tool for measuring the productivity of organizations - Balanced Scorecard (authors: Professor Norton and Professor Kaplan - Harvard University, USA). The Hospital of the Czech Republic project took place from the 1^st of February  to the 31^st of August 2024.

In 2024, the HealthCare Institute o.p.s is organizing the 19^th year of professional conference "Effective Hospital" focused on hospital strategy. This conference will take place on the 26^th – 27^th of November 2024 in Prague. The participants include the founders and top management of hospitals and health insurance companies from the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, including health management experts from the European Union.

The international professional conference "Effective Hospital 2024" will take place on the 26^th – 27^th of November 2024 in the Clarion Congres Hotel Prague - Vysočany.

The 10^th year of the national survey "Health insurance company of the year 2024" aims to gradually improve the quality of services towards health care providers and also to insured persons. Health insurance companies are evaluated throughout the year in terms of financial condition, insured persons, hospital directors, outpatient physicians and prevention programs.

The 15^th year of the international project "Barometer among hospital directors" evaluated the current situation in the healthcare sector from the perspective of directors of Czech and Slovak hospitals.

Through the project "Barometer among medics (students of 4^th, 5^th and 6^th years of medical faculties in the Czech Republic)" we find out how many medical students plan to look for a job in the Czech Republic after graduation and conversely, how many students have already decided to leave the Czech Republic and look for a job abroad. Since 2017, this project has also been implemented among students of Slovak medical faculties.

Follow-up project on a survey among medical students. Using a questionnaire survey and subsequent analysis of the obtained data, we find out how many students of secondary schools, vocational colleges and universities plan to look for a job in the Czech Republic after graduation and conversely, how many students have already decided to leave the Czech Republic and look for a job abroad. Since 2020, this project has also been implemented among students of Slovak medical schools.

A special national survey among the largest employers in the Czech Republic, the aim is to identify the current problems focused on the health of their employees that employers have to deal with in a balanced and objective way, as well as suggestions for their possible solution towards health insurance companies.

A special survey among representatives and members of 150 patient organizations in the Czech Republic, who evaluates through a special questionnaire the current situation in the Czech healthcare system and what effect does this situation have on their members.(i.e. patients - consumers of health care).
